The ring you see is a wonderful example of shuttle ring, in this case made in the 70s and decorated by an estimated total of 1ct approx. of diamonds! I would say that we are in front of a rather interesting jewel! The shuttle rings are characterized by a very specific and absolutely particular shape: in fact, they have a beautiful elongated structure, with the two curved sides and the two higher and lower extremities very pointed, thus giving an immediately recognizable appearance. This style, if we want to call it that, was made particularly famous in the Victorian era, a period in which we find a great proliferation of these rings; But even today, as we can see, these rings are much loved. Our ring is entirely made of 18k yellow gold and has a perfect synthesis between "wanting to appear" and "portability": the elongated shape is obviously present, an element that fully expresses the wanting and jumping to the eye; But the central part is quite narrow, thus remaining contained and making the ring comfortable and portable. And precisely in this central part we find the whole decoration: this is made up of a first outline of diamonds, which precisely follows the shuttle shape and which surrounds an internal and slightly spaced element from the rest; This also copys the letter to the shuttle and is decorated with a vertical row of other diamonds. Finally, the shoulders were modeled with the shape of two triangles, to which as many diamonds have been applied.
Materials: 18k yellow gold and brilliant cut diamonds, for an estimated total of 1ct approx.
Weight: 6.1 g
Dimensions of the Central Part: Height: 2.6 cm Width (without shoulders): 0.9 cm Width (with shoulders): 1.7 cm
Conditions: Excellent Condition with Normal Signs of Wear
Additional Information: The Stone Weights Indicate in Carats Represent approximate Weights, Taken with the stones set, Which can therefore Vary Slightly. Given The Age and the Fact That Are Handcrafted (and Not Mass-Produced) Jewels, Our Antique and Vintage Jewels Are Often Not Perfect and May Show Normal Signs of Surface Wear and / Or Small Imperfections, Possibly Present Both On the Parts in Gold thanks on stones. But This is exactly What Makes Each Piece Special and Unique!
